Greater Sudbury, ON – Following a highly competitive application and review process, NORCAT Innovation, Sudbury’s Regional Innovation Centre, alongside partners Northern Ontario Angels (NOA) and the City of Greater Sudbury, are proud to announce the official finalists for this year’s Venture North PITCH competition, who will take the stage on October 2nd, 2025.
•KorrAI – Developing TRAIL, an AI-powered co-worker for industrial monitoring and site operations, helping mines and infrastructure sites make better decisions with real-time data.
•Myomar Molecular – A health diagnostics venture based in Halifax and relocating to Sudbury, creating Canada’s first urine-based test to track and manage muscle degeneration.
•Triple Point Biologics – A biotech company producing consistent, ethical recombinant antibodies without the need for live animals in R&D.
•E.X.I.T. Life Ready – A digital planning solution offering Canadians peace of mind through a secure vault for end-of-life and estate planning.
Venture North PITCH has become a signature platform for Canada’s emerging innovators, offering founders direct access to industry stakeholders, seasoned experts, and the partners they need to grow. This year, four sector-diverse finalists will take to the stage to unveil their vision, competing for cash prizes and potential investment opportunities.

We’ve been impressed with their progress every step of the way,” explains Brendan Skiffington, manager of NORCAT Innovation. “This year’s overwhelming response showcased a remarkable range of talent that we are excited to share with you, reaffirming why Venture North PITCH remains a launchpad for regional innovation and bold new ventures. It’s clear that Greater Sudbury is being recognized as a place where startups can grow, scale, and thrive.”
The judge’s panel for PITCH 2025 will include Kirk Petroski, Founder and Chairman of SYMX.AI, bringing decades of knowledge in mining and industrial advancement; Luke Begley, founder of CircuitIQ and a previous VNP winner; and Emily Mantle, Founder of Compass CPA, a key voice for business development and community advancement in the region. Each voice brings a unique perspective rooted in their industry experience, offering valuable insight to help founders refine their pitch and navigate real-world challenges.
