Venture Northern College: Student Innovation Challenge Info Session

We are excited to invite you to be a part of something extraordinary — an event that celebrates the creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurial spirit of the next generation of leaders.

The Venture North College: Student Innovation Challenge is an opportunity for Northern College students, graduates, and Grades 11–12 students in Northeastern Ontario to showcase their groundbreaking ideas, collaborate with industry leaders, and turn visionary concepts into real-world solutions.

This challenge is designed to bridge the gap between student creativity and the real-world needs of your organization. By combining learning, mentorship, and hands-on problem solving, participants will tackle real challenges and bring fresh, innovative thinking to the table.

Join us during your lunch hour to learn more about this exciting new initiative. Applications for the Student Innovation Challenge will officially open that same day.

Northern College has partnered with Northern Ontario Angels and the Timmins Economic Development Corporation to fuel this challenge, which will culminate in a live public pitch event in Spring 2026 at Northern College.
