Born and raised in Sault Ste. Marie, Michael has worked with a leading Canadian Financial Institution since 2007. After receiving an Honours Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) from Queen’s University, he spent the first eight years of his finance career on Bay Street in Toronto, and other areas of Southern Ontario. During this time he gained invaluable experience in the mid-market commercial lending space to leading multi-bank, multi-national syndicated deal structures ranging from $100 million to over $1 billion. Since moving back to Northern Ontario with his family, he has transitioned his career from a corporate environment to working with high net-worth clients and their wealth and portfolio management needs. Michael also holds his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
