Operations & Events Manager

Having spent over 20 years working in Toronto in various roles from a Production Coordinator for film & television companies to a Marketing Specialist with Fidelity Investments, and a few Executive Administrative positions in between, Kimberley returned to her northern birthplace (Sudbury) in 2005.

For 10 years Kimberley was the Events Manager for Northern Ontario Business www.northernontariobusiness.com and produced premiere business awards programs across Northern Ontario, including the Northern Ontario Business Awards www.noba.ca with over 500 delegates in attendance each year. She was responsible for event management, and sponsorship sales. She liaised with internal divisions, external Government officials and senior business executives & entrepreneurs.

She joined Northern Ontario Angels in June 2015, as a Consultant for the Sudbury area, and in 2017, became the Operations & Events Manager. She is responsible for organizing and executing dragon’s den type events, workshops and webinars across Northern Ontario face to face and virtually. Kimberley creates the marketing, social media, website and works closely with the Executive Director in preparing administrative work, minutes, funding applications and seeking sponsorships.

Kimberley is a graduate of Marketing, Meetings & Convention Management courses at Ryerson University, an Honour’s Graduate in Tourism Studies at Seneca College in Toronto and has an Executive Secretarial Certificate from Canadore College in North Bay. She sits on the Ethics Committee at Finlandia Village, and recently was awarded a 5 Year Volunteer Award from Finlandia.
