Steve Kidd is a native Northerner, born and raised in Cochrane. After studying economics at Queen’s University, he returned to the North and went onto varied and comprehensive business activities in the North.
He is highly experienced in construction management ranging from civil and mechanical
projects to heavy industrial and has a strong knowledge of automation process equipment within a variety of industries. Additionally, he is an experienced sales and marketing professional and has earned multiple awards within the CPG, telecommunications and real estate sectors. He has been a Registered Investment Advisor with experience trading equities and executing private placements.
He is a past member of the Northern Ontario Angels board and has served on a variety
of boards and volunteer organizations, including the Porcupine United Way and Timmins Symphony Orchestra. He is a Past President of the Timmins Chamber of Commerce, the Northeastern Ontario Chamber of Commerce and served as a director on the Timmins Economic Development Corporation.
Currently, he still serves his community as Vice Chair of the Northeastern Ontario Communications Network (NEONET) and Vice Chair of Access Better Living Timmins. He is passionate about making Northern Ontario a better place to live, work and do business and is currently building a successful real estate business in the Timmins area
